Happy Halloween! While the costumes come out and the porch lights go on tonight, we have some news of our own: MyFolksBoard.com is ready to launch.
Fall is when family life speeds up again. School and activities are back in full swing, the evenings get shorter, and before you know it the holidays are on the calendar, with visits to plan, gifts to buy and a few more dinners to cook. That's exactly the season we built MyFolksBoard.com for: one shared place where everyone at home can see what's going on, so the cozy evenings stay cozy.
The Android app is here, iPhone is next
The MyFolksBoard.com app for Android is available now on Google Play. Install it, sign in, and your family board is right on your phone.
The iPhone app follows shortly. Until then, everything works in the browser on iPhone and iPad, so nobody in the family has to wait.
What's on the board
- Calendar: family events in one place, with a subscription link you can add to Google or Apple Calendar.
- Chores and rewards: assign or rotate chores, earn points, and let an adult approve finished work and rewards.
- Shopping lists and checklists: shared lists, packing lists, reusable templates and a pantry.
- Meals: plan the week and send ingredients straight to the shopping list.
- Rides: plan pickups and carpools and see who's driving.
- Bills, contacts and birthdays: keep household bills, important contacts and everyone's birthdays where you can find them.
- Announcements: a quick note for the whole family, right on the board.
- Pets: vaccines, vet visits and feeding in one place.
- Wall display: put the board on a spare tablet or TV in the kitchen, with PINs for kids.
- Your AI assistant: connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Muse (also in WhatsApp) to check today's plan or add to the list just by asking.
