The connector
MCP server URL: https://myfolksboard.com/mcp
It works with assistants that support MCP custom connectors with sign-in (OAuth), such as Claude, ChatGPT and Grok. Alexa is supported through account linking from the app.
Connect in a minute
Add a custom connector
In your assistant's settings, add a connector named MyFolksBoard.com with the URL above.
Sign in and approve
A MyFolksBoard.com page opens. Sign in, or create an account there, then approve access for one household.
Start asking
Try "what's on today?", "add milk to the shopping list" or "mark Emma's dishes chore done".
Already signed in? Use your connect link
In the app, open AI assistant and copy your personal connect link. It is shown masked on screen and copies in full, so you can paste it into an assistant that asks for a server URL without typing a password. Treat it like a password: anyone with the link can use your household until you revoke it.
What assistants can do
Everyday updates
Add to shopping lists, create chores and events, tick things off, plan meals.
Answers
What's due today, who's driving, what's for dinner, what's in the pantry.
Setup help
Name your household, add people, invite adults and create the first chores.
Safety and control
- Each connection is approved for one household and can be revoked any time under Access in the app.
- Kids' connections only get kid-safe tools; kids never see costs or prices.
- Assistants only reach your household's data through the tools; they never see your password.
- We don't sell data or use it for advertising. See the privacy policy.
